First Communion Invitation

I haven't done a post about our spring break trip to Las Vegas nor Easter... but I just finished the invitations for Madigan's First Communion so I wanted to post a picture of it. It's vellum on top of a sepia tone picture of Madigan in her dress and veil. The invitations will be going out tomorrow. I won't be sending them to everyone in Boston (they took a long time to make) so let me know if you want one for a scrapbook, I still have a couple.

Spring Break - Vegas Baby!

With prices so inexpensive in Vegas, we decided to head to the desert for a few days with our neighbors. A stop in Baker CA, home of the world's largest thermometer.

And of course, we had to stop at the state line to ride the log ride and the roller coaster at Buffalo Bill's.

Thomas was very relaxed at the pool at the Monte Carlo where we stayed.

The lazy river and the wave pools were fantastic!

Torrey Hills Open House

Tonight was "Open House" at the kid's school. Thomas' calss did reports on "Famous Californians". Thomas picked Walt Disney. I think this had to do with the fact that he legitamately needed to go to Disneyland to do research. He chose his costume, and he wore it for the whole 2 hours.

Madigan's class did many projects including a "Kid 'Casso" self portrait drawing in the Picasso format. she had a checklist to show us all of her projects around her classroom.
